Lovelace Prempeh - Member

Lovelace Prempeh is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales.

The early days of his career were spent in the UK where he worked in the Audit & Finance Department of the EMI Group.  Upon his return to Ghana, he joined KPMG where he gained auditing experience in the financial, manufacturing and brewery industries.

He moved on to become the Financial Controller and Director of SCOA and later joined Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) as the Deputy Managing Director.  During his thirteen-year stay at TOR, he gained knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry.  He retired voluntarily from TOR and is currently a Corporate and Financial Consultant and the Executive Chairman of Lillygold Oil Limited – an oil consulting company.  He holds an honors degree in Economics and International Politics from Lancaster University in England.

Mr. Prempeh adds to the Board a wealth of experience in Finance, Corporate Governance and an excellent understanding of the Ghanaian business environment including the Banking Industry, having previously served on the board of GCB Bank Limited.
